The Challenge

Research Scientist, Dr Kristina Warton approached me to make a video for a funding application for ovarian cancer research. The challenge was the limited amount of time we had to produce it.

We only had 2 hours to shoot, edit and upload.

I planned ahead and asked her to email me the voiceover ahead of of the shoot. This saved a lot of time on the day and I was able to set up and shoot in various locations around the university, edit it on the spot and upload it immediately.

"Prue worked with us to produce a video that we submitted as part of a funding application for our research on ovarian cancer. The application had a very tight deadline and involved a number of tasks. The video was the most daunting part, as I have no experience doing this, and so we turned to Prue for help.

Prue was able to organise me so that I put the relevant information together and had the sound parts ready well in advance. She had a clear vision of what filming would be done on-site, and this was finished in less than 2 hours. We had lots of fun doing it, and the result looked great, really professional and engaging. Because making the video was so quick and stress free, we ended up with more time than expected to work on the written part of the funding application, how often does that happen!

In the end, the video ended up being the part that took the least time to make, and that we were the most proud of.

Prue made the whole process easy, creative and fun. I wholeheartedly endorse her work!"
