The Challenge
​
Fitness First approached me to make a video celebrating the community spirit thats very much part of their club.
​
My challenge was to find what it was that uniquely bound the community together and to represent that in an engaging way.
​
The club's membership is largely LBGTI and it was at time when the pressure was mounting on the government to legalise gay marriage.
To meet the challenge, I wrote a script that perfectly reflects these values, and I enlisted musicians to write a song that endorses marriage equality, for the soundtrack. To give it an even more personal edge, I chose well known and loved members, to star in the clip.
